Marc Francis Cagaoan is Number One!

Marc Francis Cagaoan, a Summa CumLaude graduate of Colegio de Dagupan bagged the 4th place in the October 2012 CPA Board Examinations making him number one in Region 1 and perhaps in other regions. Marc Francis graduated last April 2012 having the highest Latin honor. He was a consistent Presidential Scholar and he was the SGV Cup National Champion in 2011.
Mr. Cagaoan is also remarkable in his attitude, persistence, humility, and discipline. These are the qualities Colegio de Dagupan instills to its students. Cagaoan was a student of the College of Business and Accountancy during the Deanship of the late Dr. Nenita S. Virtudazo. Mrs. Teofila S. Albay has become the new Dean this school year 2012-2013.

Armando Alvendia and Rogie Sison, Newest SGV Cup and President’s Cup Champions
For two years in a row, Colegio de Dagupan Accountancy quizzers have dominated the Sycip, Velayo and Co. (SGV) Cup and Northern Certified Public Accountants Review (NCPAR) in the National Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants’ Regional Midyear Convention. This year’s champion is a senior BSA student in the person of Armando P. Alvendia Jr. The 11th convention was held at Baguio City last September 23-25 2012 which participated by 80 contenders. Alvendia is a Presidential Scholar from Labrador, Pangasinan. He is the son of Armando and Trinidad Alvendia, the youngest of the five (5) children.
Armando Alvendia Jr. will represent the National Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants Region I and CAR Council on October 23-26, 2012 in Davao City for the National Midyear Convention. Also, last July 25, 2012 Alvendia placed 1st runner–up in the Accounting Quiz during the 61st Accountancy week of the Philippine Institute of Public Accountants (PICPA) Pangasinan Chapter. Rogie Sison, a senior BSA student and also a quizzer was the partner of Alvendia in the quiz bowl. Sison was also the champion of the President’s Cup in the Midyear Convention.
Last year, then BSA senior student Marc Francis Cagaoan brought home the title as the National Champion in the SGV cup.
